This special offering is now collected each year at the end of the Week of Prayer-a time for re-commitment, and sacrifice for God's work. It has only one aim: to bring hope in Jesus to a broken world. And it's happening. Each day more than 10 Seventh-day Adventist congregations are established, and nearly 3,000 people accept Jesus as their Saviour.
These aren't lifeless statistics. I've seen the changed lives. I've seen husbands and wives reunite, murderers repent, and drunkards become sober. I've seen diseases healed. I've seen the mentally disturbed find the peace that passes all understanding. (I invite you to request a free copy of the booklet Dear Friend, which is full of front line Global Mission stories.)
